Your Window to the Heart of Lazni Village

A Story of Relaxation

By Qaland - Month of Falling Leaves, 15, 316

Hello dear viewers, today's report was brought to me by Traicere, something rather.. unexpected caught their mind! They embarked on a journey of relaxation and inner selves! You might remember, Traicere, ever the curious, went around and asked Laznis one single question, "What is your favourite relaxation spot". They scribbled down some notes, the most popular places and even made some connections! So... let's get to it!

A word from the people

It seems a lot of Laznis find peace in outdoor places, parks, ponds, river side, mountain peaks, etc... Here's some highlights Traicere wrote down:

Allemanie: Lazni Park, Lazni Park!! There's a reason I chose to put my house in there! Tekay said "You know this is deep in the woods right...?". I say, NATURE IS AWESOME!!

TheLeaf: My garden, No, our garden, is my favorite place within Lazni Village, me and Tujar spend day and night taking for this place, it eases my soul seeing that other people find it serene as well.

Anglestan: I think Lake Hertel ought to be one of the most serene places within Lazni Village. You can see fishes hop in and out of the water, birds perching in the trees, and most importantly, no Lazni development. You are left alone in the hands of mother nature as she shows you her beauty.

Garulmonie: Hm.. Saguenay Creek is one of my favorite places to hike. It is far beyond the usual trails, so you don't usually find a lot of people there. If only I didn't had to bring Yedesna along.. (sighs)

Kalontia: I like to sleep in my boat, riding along the Richelieu river, I think it is a serene place, even if bustling with activity.

Personally, I agree with Anglestan, Lake Hertel is truly a wonderful and serene place, and it is also my favorite place. All of these Laznis share a point, beauty can often be found within nature. But this coin has two sides! Some Laznis, on the contrary may prefer some more indoor spots, such as their homes or public establishments. Here's some of Traicere's highlighs:

Yedesna: Eh? Favorite relaxation spot? Khenaga's Bakery I guess... there's so much pastries..!!

Mulretonie: The Lazni Crimson Library is my favorite spot, I often find myself relaxing in the archives section, it's a very calm place with little to no one visiting, surrounded by ancient knowledge and stories.

Hongoru: I love Port au Prince! Ever since I found these ruins, me and Criota keep going there! It's a beautiful place with so many things to collect! It clears the mind!

Criota: I agree with Hongoru, the ruins are a neat place more Laznis should explore, although I prefer to relax within the walls of my house.

Neolantis: The pool is my favourite place to relax, did you know we are planning on opening an inside spa? It'll be even more relaxing!

All of these Laznis make good points, the inside is also a good place to relax.

A Connection between the reserved and extraverted?

You might ask, where are you going with this, Qaland?

I'll answer you with this:

What can we find in common with Laznis who prefer the garden over let's say... the library?

Mulretonie for example isn't a very active Lazni, they are reserved, and don't really enjoy sports, they are an intellectual type who enjoy the result of their labour. This tower of knowledge simply is where they enjoy their time off. You could say a similar story with TheLeaf, who finds peace within their own work.

A similar pattern could be seen with Neolantis as well.

Meanwhile someone like Hongoru enjoys going out to clear their mind, same as of Garulmonie. Two very different souls, yet connected by a sense of curiosity and an attraction to the unknown, what may they find next, among the serenity of silence?

Me and Traicere find this topic very interesting, we noticed that Lake Hertel is preferred by the intellectual type, while Lazni Park is preferred by the younger souls.

It's a fascinating topic really, next time you go take your time off, why don't you try and think "Why does this place calms me? Why did I choose this place over any other places?"

That'll be all for today folks, I hope you enjoyed this week's edition.

See you next Sunday!
