Hardship of Lazni
By Mulretonie - Month of Falling Leaves, 15, 316
Hello dear readers of The Lazni Gazette, a couple of days ago, me and Yedesna had a little chat about our village's hardships.
Me and the Lazni Gazette team thought it would be a good idea to post it as their debate of the week.
Here lies said conversation, please pardon my unprofessionalism, I am not a news writter:
In chat with Yedesna
Mulretonie: Yedesna, could you please fetch me some lavender? I need some for my next client's tea.
Yedesna: Eh? Why would you need that? If it's for that weird purple drink, I don't think it's a good idea. I once drank some, and it made me feel eepy!
Mulretonie: It soothes the spirit. My client requested it to calm their anxiety.
Yedesna: But why would they be anxious? We live in Lazni Village! There's nothing to be afraid of here!
Yedesna: Well... other than bears I guess.
Mulretonie: Some people have a lot on their minds. A Lazni's life isn't always easy.
Yedesna: I guess... I'm not the peak of productivity. I don't have a job, and I hardly do any chores. But I do like to help! That's why I'm helping you right now, even if I don't really want to.
Mulretonie: I appreciate that, although you should work out your wording.
Yedesna: Huh?
Mulretonie: Now, as I was saying, a Lazni's life isn't always easy. Our history has been filled with hardships.
Yedesna: What do you mean? We've got it easy! We've got pastries, shelter, and all the comforts a Lazni could ever need.
Mulretonie: That's because we've worked hard to build a good life for ourselves. Our ancestors had to endure a lot. They had to deal with harsh winters, a lack of resources, and even war.
Yedesna: Huh? A war? What was that about?
Mulretonie: It was a long time ago. I don't remember all the details, but it was a difficult time for Lazni Village.
Yedesna: I guess... But we're fine now, right?
Mulretonie: Yes, we are. But we should never forget the sacrifices our ancestors made to ensure we could have a better life.
Yedesna: I guess...
Mulretonie: Now, could you please fetch me some lavender?
Yedesna: Ugh, fine...
End of Story
We'll end here, as the chat gets pointless afterwards.
If you'd like more information on said war, please visit the Lazni Crimson Library, you could also talk with Criota and Anglestan, they've probably got lots of stories to tell you.
Me and the Lazni Gazette team are planning on releasing more historical facts in the future.
Thank you for reading, see you next Sunday.
